Parts Place, Inc. a brief history.

Wastequip, Inc. announced the opening of Parts Place, Inc. its new after market parts business in November of 2004. This new company, with headquarters located in Piedmont, South Carolina, sells replacement parts nationwide for waste handling and recycling equipment. Within three years Parts Place Inc. expanded to two additional locations, the first in Dallas, Texas around September 2005, and the second in Baltimore, Maryland during March of 2006. All 3 locations quickly proved to be valuable to both Wastequip and a large segment of the refuse industry. Plans are currently in motion to open a west coast location in Albany, Oregon.

President and chief executive officer of Wastequip, Robert Rasmussen, explains, "Parts Place is a logical extension of our commitment to serving our customers throughout North American with all their equipment needs including replacement and after market parts. It's all part of our philosophy of total customer satisfaction."  Parts Place General Manager, Margaret Spradlin Allen, adds "Being a Wastequip company, gives us the opportunity to offer a large inventory of quality replacement parts at the best value in the market."
